Welcome to the Sons of Thunder Coalition Website. We hope that you enjoy the site. We have been in the service of creating positive activities for youth for over a decade. Through recreational and athletic programs, youth are exposed caring and loving adults to assist them in the area of career and educational exploration. We work with boys and girls ages 11-17, and we are inspired to make a positive impact in their lives.

The Sons of Thunder Coalition is a faith-based, non-profit community service organization that serves more than 400 people each year through the cooperative work of more than 20 churches and human-service organizations. Since 1995, we have worked to provide an environment in which character is demonstrated by example, partnership is practiced, education is promoted, young people are mentored, and adults are given positive parenting opportunities.

Our mission is to help the young people of Greater Hartford build a better future for themselves. To accomplish our mission, we conduct college and prep-school tours. We work with college, prep-school, and public-school administrators, teachers, and coaches to introduce our young people to positive role models and mentors. We expose our young people to sports, the arts, culture, and the humanities. We help our young people understand that a better future is revealed from within. We teach them to believe it.
